Hello everyone! It appears there has been some confusion since I updated my fanlisting collective script—when members try to update their information, I’m e-mailed, stating they can’t update their information from their last password, and/or that the reset password form doesn’t exist. While I’m grateful for the information—I do encourage people to report in any errors or problems they encounter—I also have to clear some things up:
First off, I do NOT run on Enthusiast, and have not been running on Enthusiast since early 2008. While I know the script at the current moment looks exactly like Enthusiast, I assure it’s not. This, therefore, leads into my second point: unless you have joined a fanlisting after July 15, 2009, you do not have a password. The password field was added on the date mentioned, and therefore, you’re password no longer exists.
Most of my fanlistings don’t have a reset.php page, and therefore I’m redirecting you to this reset page », where you will be able to change your password with any number of my listings you may have joined. You can view which fanlistings currently don’t have a lost password page at STFU T-Rex! » under “Filed Under”; if a lost password page is added, a fanlisting will be deleted from the list.
